The father of Freeza, King Cold appears briefly at the start of the Trunks Saga along with his now cyborg son to destroy Earth as revenge for Freeza's near death by the hands of Goku. After Trunks shows up and quickly kills Freeza, King Cold offers Trunks to take Freeza's place. Trunks declines and proceeds to kill King Cold.
In appearance he resembles Freeza's second form. He is likely best known for his idle complaints of how long it takes Freeza to start and finish a fight.
