A Sayian warrior, Nappa plays an insignificant role in Dragon Ball Z, and he is killed very early in the series during the Saiyan Saga. Nappa was originally Vegeta's right hand man, however when Vegeta saw how weak he was compared to Goku, he killed Nappa himself. Nappa is a very large Saiyan (which does not relate to his power level) who is bald and not too bright. Nappa along with Sabiamen help destroy all the Z warriors except for Gohan, Krillen, and Yajriobe before Goku arrives.
In a later episode, Vegeta claims that a pure breed Saiyan's hair style remains unchanged from birth which would mean that Nappa was always bald. This would contradict with his brief appearance in the Bardock movie which shows him to have a fair amount. He possibly shaved off his hair in between the Bardock movie and the Saiyan Saga, after which it would never grow back. However, the content of the Bardock movie is not considered canon, outside of the destruction of the planet.
