Shadow Dragon Saga is the fourth and final story arc in the Dragon Ball GT series as well as the end of the Dragon Ball universe as a whole. When Goku, his family and friends get set to use the dragon balls after the events in the Super Android 17 Saga. The balls don't work like they normally do, instead unleashing seven evil dragons across the Earth to cause chaos. Feeling responsible due to their exploitation of the balls over the years, Goku sets out to defeat the shadow dragons with his granddaughter, Pan, and Giru tagging along. The quest to defeat these dragons ultimatly leads Goku to his final battle of Earth. In the final fight with Syn Shenron, also known as Ii-Shenron, he receives help from Chi-Chi, Son Gohan, Videl, Pan, Son Goten, Trunks and Hercule. However Syn Shenron, when transformed into Omega Shenron, proves he is ruthless: he uses the attack of the seven-starred dragon to shoot everyone in the air, and attacks. This way he injured Super Saiyan 4 Goku badly, but Goku's friends and family had no chance against Omega: all were rendered unconscious. Then Vegeta arrives and joins the fight, along with Bulma. In the last episode of the series, Goku leaves Earth with Shenron after wishing everyone back to Earth, after which it shows an extensive clip show (going all the way back to the first episode of Dragon Ball and detailing each major turning point, such as major enemies defeated, such as Frieza, and Goku turning Super Saiyan.) It leads to somewhat of a cliffhanger/jumping the shark where the title and last words spoken by Goku are "Until We Meet Again."
